Two very small bridesmaids baskets made for a five and seven year old. They were made from soft trailing ruscus, trailing singapore orchids, white roses and freesia along with aubergine hydrangea and a small silk aubergine flower with pearls attached.
A bridesmaids basket for a 7-9 year old. The basket consisted of lilac freesia, white small roses, singapore orchids and purple crytals. To add a touch of glam we also entwined the purple crystals down the handle.
A bridesmaids pomander ball which are usually carried by younger children however recent magazines have been promoting the adult bridesmaid carrying them. We used to construct it a satin handle and then vanilla spray carnation buds, gypsophilia with peach and champagne roses. Please note these balls are only for well behaved children and rapid swinging of them can cause the ball to detatch from the satin handle.
The bridesmaids hoop is making a come back. The hoops are for bridesmaids from 5 years up to about 12 years of age. They are firstly wrapped in material to match the wedding scheme and then small corsages of flowers are constructed. In this picture we used small white/ivory roses, lilac mini phalaenopsis orchids, soft ruscus and ivy leaves.
